I am a fun, fully present person. I tend towards kindness, love listening and love my wife my baby girl.
I generally apply the flipped approach to learning, both inside and outside the classroom. Facilitating learning has and will always be a passion of mine. I’m still learning. I can relate to you.

Education & Documentation
As a grade 10 school pupil at Grey High School I did not understand accounting, at all! It was only during university that it clicked for me. I’ve since gone on to complete two honours degrees in Accounting and Economics at Nelson Mandela University. I am now a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) [CA (SA)] with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
Experience
Over the past 8 years I have been an Accounting and Economics tutor and lecturer across all levels and to students of various backgrounds. I have had the privilege of lecturing and tutoring at a handful of learning institutions. You could say I’m a bit of an insider in that sense. My Teaching Philosophy
When I facilitate tutoring classes and present lecturers, I think of what it was like when I was on the other side of the classroom. I have always wanted to add value, and therefore I tend to ask myself what I actually needed when I was on the other side of the classroom in order to understand the prescribed text which I was being presented with. It is my goal for students to understand and not just get through the work and pass, although my forte is make sure you / your child is ready for tests, exams and assignments.
